Cliff and his crew are honestly just amazing. The man is brilliant when it comes to lighting, landscaping, irrigation systems, and quite a few entirely unrelated things. We have been utilizing his services for the past couple of years, and it's been nothing short of perfect. He is very honest, prices are more than reasonable, the work is done to such high quality, and if there's ever a problem, he just takes care of it. Plain and simple. We had another lighting company who did such a terrible job on our lights. They would go out almost every other week. We couldn't get them back out to work on them to save our lives. Their appointments would take weeks and then they would no show. Our first call to him, he came out same day, and had the lights fixed in about 5 minutes. Since then, we've used him to redo our entire backyard irrigation system for a swimming pool. He then designed the landscaping, came out and re-graded the yard, sodded it, installed a new irrigation system, reworked the front yard lights, and fixed a few other odds and ends he noticed were wrong like a broken gate latch. If there were way to give 10 stars to this company, I would in a second. Service and quality for the price hardly exists anymore. It's been such a pleasure working with them.

Highly recommend the Ace Team for your sprinkler and or landscaping needs. Prompt. Thorough. Knowledgeable. Reasonable. Did what needed to be done, fixed only what needed to be fixed. Checked whole system and adjusted what would make it more effective and taught me about aspects of my system I did not know before. Don't know who your using, but I switched and I'm glad I did. Can’t say enough about how professional and excellent their service was. There were several issues with our sprinkler system, some I was aware of and 2 that I was not. They fixed all issues in one afternoon, showed me an exact price breakdown to the cent, and the price and estimate were more than fair. Great job guys!

First experience with San Antonio Ace Sprinklers was fantastic! My sprinklers were having pressure issues and within 10 minutes into the diagnosis, the technician Cameron, had the problem figured out and fixed! Not only was my problem solved, but Cameron also repaired some wiring, replaced a sprinkler head, and made some other important adjustments. Price was very fair and Cameron did an excellent job explaining the costs. Call this fine company the next time you need irrigation help, I know I will!

I can't say enough great things about this company. I have been trying since November 2017 to find out why the water bills were so high at my late father's home in San Antonio. I had another sprinkler system company come out 3 different times telling me there was nothing wrong with the sprinkler system and controller. After reviewing the April 2018 water bill stating the empty house used 18,000 gallons of water I knew I had to find another company. This is a family run business and they are simply the best. They listened to the customer, follow up and found the problem that another company should have found 6 months ago! Thanks for doing a great job!

Cliff and Cameron have been excellent. This is the worst possible time to have a sprinkler system go down but they responded as quickly as possible, showed me what was wrong, fixed it quickly and were extremely fair on pricing considering all the work that was required. I will definitely be using them in the future. Very happy with them after either getting the run around or insane pricing from other vendors.

Matt came to our new home to repair a sprinkler head the movers backed over. He took care of that and WAY more. He checked all zones and heads to make sure they were straight and providing good coverage. He even made sure I knew how to operate our new system and gave tips for optimal watering. True customer focus and attention to detail. These guys are now “my sprinkler guys!”

I have used Ace Sprinklers several times over the past 2 years for various sprinkler/landscaping work---isolated repairs, moving sprinkler locations, and most recently a major conversion of part of my yard to a drip system. I can truly say that the time and effort they put into their work is second to none. Matt treated the job as if he were working on his own house. Moreover, when I did subsequently have a small leak in one section of the drip conversion, Matt promptly came out the following day to fix it at no additional cost. I continue to be pleased with their service and commitment to their customers, and will continue to use them moving forward. Highly recommend!

I contacted Ace Sprinklers and Landscaping when my sprinkler system quit working. I contacted them on Tuesday, 8/7/18. The person with whom I spoke was very empathetic to my situation; however, I was not prepared to hear they could be here today to repair the system. The young man, River, who came by at the exact set time was nothing short of phenomenal. First, let me say he has a work ethic rarely seen in someone his age. He knew what he was looking for and identified the problem. He needed to return to the shop to get a part and returned within 45 minutes. Less than an hour later, the problem was resolved. I can only attribute his professionalism to a culture of "customer satisfaction" established within this company. Let me add that the charges were more than fair. I will never use another sprinkler company. Thank you Ace Sprinklers and Landscaping. Job well done. IF ever I need further service I will request River to do the job.

Just received a call from Cliff, easy to set up a quote and prompt response. Update while Cliff came out and was very knowledgeable that same weekend I was told I would receive a quote within the next week. Never received a quote so I called and left a message. The next day I received a call back and was told I would get a quote that evening which I never received. That was a week ago now. I would have preferred to give my business to a smaller local company and I truly enjoyed talking to Cliff as he seemed very knowledgeable but at this point I have lost faith in them especially considering if something every went wrong with the system and having to get them to come out to get it repaired.

Cliff is always very responsive, courteous, they have great prices! We are one of the biggest property managements in San Antonio and they are our choice for sprinkler repair. They have helped us when we were in a time crunch and they have always been great at communicating the problems and explaining the problem so we in return can explain the problem to our owners. 100% would recommend.

Fast and friendly service! I had my sprinkler system looked over and a few things were fixed and adjusted. The gentleman who came out didn’t mind me tagging along asking questions while the adjustments and repairs were being done. All this while it was raining on and off. We recently had our sprinkler system repaired by Matt and his team of Ace Sprinkers and Landscapers. After having an inground pool built, our sprinklers were a total mess. Ace Sprinklers and Landscaping gave us a fair bid, realistic timeline and stayed in constant communication with us before and during their job at our home. Every employee was friendly, trustworthy, and respectful. Our job ended up having some unforeseen issues where pool equipment damaged it even further down than we knew and Ace Sprinklers discusses all options before proceeding. Their pricing was extremely fair and all components within their bid were transparent so we knew exactly what we were paying for. I knew something was wrong with my sprinkler system...but no idea what. Called Ace because I am a big believer in Google reviews. They got me scheduled right in on the day I wanted. River was very professional and spent a fair bit of time inspecting my system to try to identify the problem. In the end, it was my pressure reducer. Rather than try to rush the job that afternoon, we worked out a time for him to come back. He installed the reducer, and did an excellent job putting in a new box for it and getting the yard back in order. Problem fixed, he then inspected my whole system and replaced a few heads and adjusted all the heads as it had been a few years. I now feel like I have a brand new system! He even sent me a recommended schedule for my timer. I cannot say enough about how professional River was, and I felt like the price was a great value as well. Ace is now my go-to company and I will be scheduling that spring tune-up next year!

I was very impressed with Mr. River Rasmussen. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and so respectful. I’m 76 years old and some technicians do not take the time to explain things to us seniors. Mr. Rasmussen made sure that I was aware of everything that he did and why. The sprinkler technician, River, arrived on schedule and in checking our system realized we did not have the right amount of pressure. He acquired the necessary equipment as well as many new sprinkler heads and in replacing, adjusting etc., and working with every sprinkler head, we have greater pressure and more accurate coverage since living at this address. He worked quickly and efficiently and assisted me in understanding my program. This company deserves a five star rating and I highly recommend River's work.

Great service!!! Arrived on time and quickly remedied our problem. He was respectful, good with my kid who was following him around asking 1 million questions, and he hustled to get the job done. He even programmed our sprinkler system so that it got just the right amount of water of our specific grass species for the correct time of year. I took a chance with these guys and was extremely impressed with their willingness to squeeze me in for same day service and even after normal 9-5 hours. Our sprinkler system went out and we were in desperate need of having someone fix. I called 9 companies in the morning and only 2 picked up and/or called back. And only Ace Sprinklers were willing to come by and address our problem. The cost was extremely reasonable and I will be contacting them again with a larger project.

Excellent service once they got here. The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He ensured that I was informed at every step of the process and tried to keep the costs to a minimum. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because they need to communicate with the customer better. They we not able to make it to the fist appointment. I might not have known that they weren't going to make it had I not called about 30 min prior to the appointment time to find when I should expect them. On the rescheduled appointment, I called and left a message see if we were on schedule and I never received a callback or text.

Ace Sprinklers deserve 6 stars in my opinion, here's why. I came home from a business trip to a leak coming from my irrigation box that was trickling several houses down the road. The source of the leak I found was in a position where to only way it can be prevented was to turn off the water for the whole house. Ace came in and did the repair for me, despite their busy schedule, and also under what I expected to pay as well for an emergency. Thank you for all your work! Oh and Henry the tech was such a nice guy to talk to!

I recently had my old Bermuda grass/crabgrass replaced with fresh St.Augustine. I was really impressed with the level of professionalism from both Henry and Mark. I would highly recommend their services for anything related to landscaping and sprinkler maintenance. I’ve used them in the past as well for my annual sprinkler spring maintenance and River was also very friendly and knowledgeable!!!! You’re not just a customer to them but more like family to them !

Had an appointment scheduled for over two weeks as I had a tight schedule and was due to travel overseas. On the day of my appointment (which I had confirmed via text message a couple of days before) I was informed that the technician had mixed me up with another customer.Not only did they waste my time, but I was informed that the next available date was about 3-4 weeks out. I received an apology via text message from my technician stating that he would do everything he could to rectify the situation. After responding and asking for the next confirmed available date I never heard back.One of my worst consumer experiences, utter lack of professionalism. Stay away.

I’m very happy with the service I received. I spoke to Bob on the phone when I set this up and he was friendly and informative. Cliff and his team did a truly fantastic job on the irrigation and landscaping at my property. I had recently built a pool and they came and disconnected and re-routed the system in preparation and then once the pool was complete came to landscape the entire yard and rebuild irrigation. It completely transformed the look and feel of the back yard. SAASL was very reasonable on the entire project creating a great overall value. Rick supervised the project and did a great job communicating each day what to expect and let me know right away if any issues came up. The entire crew was extremely professional and courteous, always picking up any trash/debris, rolling up all hoses and equipment each day. I would highly recommend SAASL for all irrigation and landscaping needs.

Wow, where do I start. I scheduled to have routine maintenance for my sprinklers service and had a excellent conversation with Bob. He exampled a few things to me and provide insight and gave me honest feedback. As a veteran I appreciate honesty and integrity and Bob gave me that. Today I had an emergency that needed immediate attention. Called Bob explained the situation and he walked me through a few things but nothing worked.. He explained that today was tight but he'd call me back. Received a call back and someone was out within the hour.Now it gets better. Matt came out and fixed my emergency. He then proceeded to took care of my scheduled service today. We had meaningful discussions which provide insight about my yard, landscape and sprinkler. Today's service provided me with a great appreciation for a three generation FAMILY OWNED business doing it right and taking care of their customers! BOB you'll ROCK and knocked it out of the park. What was most impressive, was their professionalism, communication with me and each other, and their positive attitudes. They also kept the area neat, organized, and clean. What was equally impressive was their attention to detail and suggestions to make the project even better.Cliff, the owner, has a wonderful design eye and knows his stuff! He was very easy and fun to work with! He saw my vision and helped it come to fruition. I've dealt with Ace I think 3 times now, the most recent visit being today, and just had to take a moment to commend them. Two of the jobs were routine maintenance, fixing broken sprinkler heads and such. The other was a major repair fixing a leak that involved moving a giant rock to get to. I've been impressed with each encounter. The people at Ace are courteous, professional, thorough, honest--they will tell you if you don't need something even if it means less money to them--and dependable. I'm seriously so impressed with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Cliff and the men who worked on our yard re-doing the irrigation system after a pool project were all so professional and courteous through every single interaction. Their quote was reasonable and accurate, they were kind and respectful and always cleaned up after themselves, have great attention to detail, and truly listened to us and considered what was important to us throughout the project. Each and every employee always acted like it was a pleasure working with us and were even kind to my kids and dog! They also worked in the rain and super cold weather to finish our system in a timely manner. You honestly do not find contractors like this these days. We have undertaken two big home reno projects in the last 14 months and these guys are by far the best people we've worked with, hands down.

I have had my sprinkler system not operating since I bought my home over a year ago. When I called a few companies some recommended starting from scratch because of the age of the home and lack of details on existing set up.Instead San Antonio Ace Sprinklers sent a tech out with a plan to evaluate and repair as much as possible the system I had. Little did I know it was not as bad as everyone thought and had 50% of my system working in minutes and the rest done within the following hours. The tech was knowledgeable, helpful in recommendations and still helped me to get the replaces parts needed to get me fully good to go.Pricing was affordable and they were very transparent in how they work and what to expect for charges.I would 100% recommend them for your sprinkler service needs.

Beware of this company!I received a quote from this company over the phone with a guarantee that a technician would come out to personally provide a more in-depth and precise quote and to confirm pricing.The technician never came out but the work did begin immediately. However at first I was provided a dollar amount over the phone only to then receive the final bill amount which was 3 times as much!I was shocked to say the least especiallywhen at first the “receptionist” seemed knowledgeable or so it “seemed” and I trusted that I was not being scammed for money.I specifically asked to be made aware of any changes in pricing if that were to occur during the work however, this company finished their work and handed me the bill afterwards without any mention of a tremendous price increase.That’s the type of company this place is, it’s a scheme to get your money.Based on my experience with your company, I personally feel it is my duty and would be beneficial for community members to know and to warn them of the risks of the scheme they face when booking your company.My full experience is as follows.During the work several of my plants were destroyed by one of your employees and they were not replaced nor was I compensated for such damages despite your employee pointing out that they had done so.An irrigation pipe was left exposed despite the pipe specifically being a pipe that your company repaired but did not bury into the ground properly. Even your own employee stated that it was done incorrectly and that they would have dug the pipe into the ground as opposed to what your other employee had done which was to leave the pipe exposed above ground with a hump in my grading. Essentially as I was explained this by your employee, leaving the pipe exposed would eventually cause the pipe to break with the heat. Thus, more money for your company to be paid to fix a problem that they themselves caused.I was overcharged for work that I can not verify actually was done especially when the PDF receipt that I received states that a spring service was completed despite my sprinklers heads still being crooked when in use after I specifically asked for all of them to be straightened, checked for proper watering coverage capabilities and properly positioned so that when sod was reapplied that I would not end up cutting off any sprinkler heads.Yet, sprinklers heads were indeed cut off while cutting the grass due to the installation of such sprinklers being too high regardless of replacing sod and adding top soil.All in all to have the finger pointed back at the customer and to have your company not take responsibility for its own lack of professionalism, carelessness and the inept handling of my irritation service is definitely eye opening and a great concern that I feel the community should be made aware of when they trust in your company not to scam them out of money.Schemes do not take place of quality work and as hard as your company may try to deflect from the simple fact that concerns with my irritation system repair are still present and relevant will always then be a remainder that this company’s lack of craftsmanship is the sole reason why honest reviews will shed light on the practices of this company.I have had to water a tree of mine with a bucket of water based on the sheer fact that the drip line is not making contact with my tree that I specifically asked to have as part of the watering coverage in my flower bed area and that I paid for to have done.Again, poor craftsmanship, excuses, neglect, inept ability to properly repair an irrigation system and deflection appears to be your obvious company motto.As seen in other low rated reviews, it is quite obvious that this company tries their absolute best and utilizes their entire efforts to deny truthful and honest reviews.As opposed to using those same efforts on quality of work and integrity for customers trusting that your company will be honest with them and not sucker them into a low quote and a 3 times higher bill.

One of the best companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Cliff and his crew are beyond professional in every aspect of the job. From small details such as sweeping left over debris from the work site to always showing respect during conversation. You can easily tell he and his crew value keeping customer relations. Even with minor hiccups that was out of his control Cliff was diligent to keep us well informed and was able to deliver a completed project on time.Pricing for these projects can often run steep however I feel the price that was quoted was more than fair for the sheer amount of work needed to complete the job. Everything was completed beyond expectations, on time and within the budget we initially had set. Cliff walked the project multiple times making minor and major tweeks to ensure that everything was correct and that irrigation coverage was adequate. His attention to detail is amazing and wouldn’t leave until he deemed it perfect.I cannot recommend this company enough to those in need of repairs ranging from a busted sprinkler to total restoration. Cliff has a true passion for his craft and will put in the extra effort to ensure that his customers are taken care of.I will only be using their service from now on and I look forward to continue my backyard journey with this amazing company. I had a small job. Just needed to move some heads to expand a flower bed. Juan did a great job. Fair Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend them or others.

There is not another company in San Antonio to which I am more loyal. I love these guys. Bob is always a pleasure. They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, dependable, professional, courteous and thorough. Matt and Cameron have been to my house on multiple occasions over the years and always provide top notch customer service. I am very impressed by the customer service offered by Ace Sprinklers and Landscaping. Bob made fixing the leak in my system a priority and got a technician out quickly. Matt is very knowledgeable about the workings of the system. He worked quickly and efficiently explaining details as he went.
